As part of the World Disability Day 2025 observance, the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Chenab organized an impactful awareness seminar and poster presentation highlighting the core values of inclusion, accessibility, dignity, and disability rights. Spreading Awareness on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) โ Building a More Inclusive Tomorrow
In a significant step toward inclusivity, The University of Chenab recently organized an awareness session on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at Mont Hira School, Wazirabad.
The session aimed to educate educators about early signs, diverse presentations, and supportive strategies for individuals on the autism spectrum.
Led by Dr. Farooq Islam, Program Head, Department of Physical Therapy, this initiative empowered teachers with the knowledge and sensitivity needed to recognize and support children with ASD in educational settings.

UChenab Job Fair -2023
The Department of Computer Science has organized โUChenab Job Fair -2023โ at The University of Chenab, Gujrat. Various Software Houses from Gujrat & Gujranwala collaborated in the Job Fair-2023 and they appreciated the new and technical courses which are being taught in the University.
Software Houses conducted on-spot screening interviews, collected resumes, and engaged with students for recruitment purposes. The University of Chenab, Gujrat is not only inculcating knowledge and skills in students but also helping them in exploration of the avenues where they can display their training and skills. Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar visited the Job Fair closing ceremony and awarded the shields as the token of gratitude to the software houses.
