The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛 successfully conducted its insightful seminar, “𝐈𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐦: 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫? — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲,” creating a meaningful platform for reflection on faith, ethics, and contemporary societal dynamics.
The seminar was graced by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐫, Deputy Chairman, Board of Governors, whose esteemed presence added immense value and underscored the University’s dedication to fostering thoughtful academic discourse. We were honored by the leadership of 𝐏𝐫𝐨–𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐡𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐧, whose vision continues to strengthen UChenab’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The meeting featured 𝐃𝐫. The 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 at 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛 warmly welcomed its new students during the departmental orientation 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 at The University of Chenab successfully conducted a 𝐓𝐰𝐨–𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 on “𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞–𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐎𝐁𝐄)” from 18th & 19th September 2025 at the University Auditorium.
The workshop was led by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐥 (𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐠𝐡𝐚–𝐢–𝐈𝐦𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐳), a distinguished academic with over 𝟐𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 of teaching, research, and leadership experience. With 𝟕𝟎+ 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 publications and extensive 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐁𝐄, he has trained thousands of faculty members nationwide and contributed greatly to educational policy and quality assurance in Pakistan.
His insightful sessions at UChenab enriched participants with modern teaching methodologies and innovative practices, reinforcing the University’s commitment to 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 (𝐐𝐄𝐂) at 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛 conducted a series of 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟–𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 (𝐒𝐀𝐑) evaluations for multiple academic programs in line with HEC’s Revised 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 (𝐏𝐒𝐆–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑).
The assessments involved expert reviews of program quality, curriculum relevance, faculty strength, infrastructure, and student outcomes. With the support of external evaluators and the Institutional Quality Circle (IQC), these evaluations reaffirm UChenab’s dedication to continuous academic and institutional improvement.

In accordance with HEC-QAA directives and PSG-2023 guidelines, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛 successfully conducted 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐄). The RIPE Committee thoroughly evaluated academic and administrative performance for the past academic year.
𝐃𝐫. 𝐍𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐡𝐦𝐚𝐝, serving as the external evaluator, led an engaging session with faculty, offering expert insights into quality assurance frameworks and institutional excellence. The workshop session led by industry expert Muhammad Bilal Shah (Nikon Trainer), this workshop promised a deep dive into the world of photography and videography. Students got real insights of Digital Media Content Production. Pro-rector Dr. Syed Hassan Raza thanked the Nikon Team for their support for the session and presented souvenirs to Nikon Official.

Reflecting on our enriching ‘𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀–𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗣𝗦𝗦‘ organized by the Department of Pharmacy, The University of Chenab, Gujrat. Led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻 (Lecturer, Biostatistics) the workshop delved into data file preparation, data entry in SPSS, coding data in Excel, and effective data analysis techniques. It was a valuable learning experience for all participants.

The University of Chenab, Gujrat is taking the lead in exhibiting the biomechanics projects for the very first time in Pakistan. The talented students showcased their projects under the leadership of Dr. Farooq Islam (Head of Physical Therapy Department) and Dr. Muhammad Asif Javed (Assistant Professor/Head of the Pediatric Physical Therapy Department at Riphah International University, Lahore) witnessed the progress of the projects and admired the professional development at The University of Chenab.
The faculty members were commended by Dr. Muhammad Asif Javed for their exemplary efforts, as reflected in the high quality of the student’s projects. The esteemed presence of Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar at the event further elevated its significance, as he diligently reviewed each project.

Department of Physics organized “1st UChenab Physics Olympiad-2024” here at the University of Chenab, Gujrat. From mind-bending equations to captivating experiments, our brightest college students showcased their talents and passion for the universe’s mysteries. The participants institutes were Govt Technical College for Women, Govt Swedish College, Superior College, ACE College from Gujrat and Vital College from Daska. Team form Superior College Gujrat won the first prize of Rs. 10000/- for the 1st position and 5000 cash prizes to runner up Govt Technical College for Women Gujrat.

1st UChenab Mathematics Challenge 2023
The Department of Physical Science successfully organized the “1st UChenab Mathematics Challenge 2023” a quiz competition, engaging students from various colleges. In this competition, the top-performing team, securing the first prize, hails from Govt. Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Graduate College, Wazirabad, remarkably, the second and third positions are claimed by teams representing Kips College, Kotla, Gujrat. During the prize distribution ceremony, the esteemed Pro-Reactor announced a generous 50% scholarship for students aspiring to enroll in the University of Chenab’s Department of Physical Sciences.

“Colleges Faculty Meetup” was organized by Department of Physical sciences. Faculty from various colleges including Punjab Colleges, KIPS, ILM Gujrat, Superior College etc joined the event. In the event, Program Head Dr. Atif Hussain introduced them with the University of Chenab, its infrastructure, offered programs, different categories of scholarships, and available facilities. Faculty of Physics Department welcomed the delegates, they had a complete tour of the campus and witnessed the vibrant campus life & modern academic facilities provided by The University of Chenab. The University of Chenab has already started faculty training programs for colleges student and faculty.

The Department of Allied Health Sciences has arranged an “International Research Seminar/Webinar” in collaboration with “IMG Helping Hands”. This session aims to inculcate the skills which are necessary to publish an article in a high impact factor/ W category Journals. It provided brief insight on how to write a research proposal and delivered detailed information about the do’s and dont’s of any research article. Dr. Mohd Al Tawil (research specialist and Mentor IMG Helping Hands) Zain Abdin, MD Founder and CEO IMG Helping Hands, and Dr. Uzzam (Research Expert and Mentor of IMG Helping Hands) were the keynote speakers. Students took the glance of the mindset of an international journal reviewer.

Outcome Based Education
The University of Chenab, Gujrat has organized a session on “Outcome Based Education” for the faculty. Prof. Dr. Fareeda Saleem was the keynote speaker & trainer as she highlighted the importance of education when it becomes outcome based. She shared realistic examples of integrated domains of the OBE system and methods to enhance the quality of the education. She also talked about the need for universities to maintain high standards of education, research, and innovation. Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar highly appreciated the session and graced it with his presence.
