1st UChenab Mathematics Challenge 2023
The Department of Physical Science successfully organized the “1st UChenab Mathematics Challenge 2023” a quiz competition, engaging students from various colleges. In this competition, the top-performing team, securing the first prize, hails from Govt. Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Graduate College, Wazirabad, remarkably, the second and third positions are claimed by teams representing Kips College, Kotla, Gujrat. During the prize distribution ceremony, the esteemed Pro-Reactor announced a generous 50% scholarship for students aspiring to enroll in the University of Chenab’s Department of Physical Sciences.

“Colleges Faculty Meetup” was organized by Department of Physical sciences. Faculty from various colleges including Punjab Colleges, KIPS, ILM Gujrat, Superior College etc joined the event. In the event, Program Head Dr. Atif Hussain introduced them with the University of Chenab, its infrastructure, offered programs, different categories of scholarships, and available facilities. Faculty of Physics Department welcomed the delegates, they had a complete tour of the campus and witnessed the vibrant campus life & modern academic facilities provided by The University of Chenab. The University of Chenab has already started faculty training programs for colleges student and faculty.

The committee members had interaction with department faculty and administration and had the detailed tour of the campus. International Research Seminar Webinar
The Department of Allied Health Sciences has arranged an “International Research Seminar/Webinar” in collaboration with “IMG Helping Hands”. This session aims to inculcate the skills which are necessary to publish an article in a high impact factor/ W category Journals. It provided brief insight on how to write a research proposal and delivered detailed information about the do’s and dont’s of any research article. Dr. Mohd Al Tawil (research specialist and Mentor IMG Helping Hands) Zain Abdin, MD Founder and CEO IMG Helping Hands, and Dr. Uzzam (Research Expert and Mentor of IMG Helping Hands) were the keynote speakers. Students took the glance of the mindset of an international journal reviewer.

Outcome Based Education
The University of Chenab, Gujrat has organized a session on “Outcome Based Education” for the faculty. Prof. Dr. Fareeda Saleem was the keynote speaker & trainer as she highlighted the importance of education when it becomes outcome based. She shared realistic examples of integrated domains of the OBE system and methods to enhance the quality of the education. She also talked about the need for universities to maintain high standards of education, research, and innovation. Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar highly appreciated the session and graced it with his presence.
