The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛 successfully conducted its impactful session on 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐚 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, organized by the 𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐙𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐢 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲. The session emphasized the importance of 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭, and 𝐜𝐨𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 as foundations of a peaceful and resilient community.

The 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐛 successfully carried out its 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 / 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 under the directives of the worthy 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 / 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐣𝐫𝐚𝐭, ensuring compliance with provincial safety and preparedness measures.
The exercise effectively evaluated campus-wide 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞, and 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, helping various departments strengthen coordination and crisis-response capabilities.
Active participation from students, faculty, and staff added significant value to the drill, fostering a collective commitment to a 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐫, 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, and 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 campus environment. UChenab continues to prioritize institutional safety, emergency preparedness, and an informed response culture across the university community.

Excited to have witnessed the inaugural Law Moot Competition featuring our LLB 3rd semester students! This event provided an incredible opportunity for aspiring lawyers to demonstrate their research and public speaking prowess. The competition was expertly judged by Mr. Abubakar Dar, Program Head LLB, and Ms. Uzma Khadim Jarral, Lecturer LLB, whose invaluable insights added depth to the experience. Seerat Conference
Office of the Student Affairs organized “Seerat Conference” in the University of Chenab Gujrat. Renowned Scholar Syed Attiq Ur Rehman was the guest speaker. The event was held in the Main Auditorium which accommodated a diverse audience comprising teachers, administrators, and students from all departments. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and a shared sense of respect for the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), his Seerat and his contributions to humanity.

The Last Metaphor
The Department of Languages has organized a live dramatic reading of play “The Last Metaphor” by the author himself, “Usman Ali Shah Jahan”, at The University of Chenab, Gujrat. The author is the prolific anglophone writer of different plays such as “The Guilt” and “The Odyssey.” “The Last Metaphor” is a three-act play, its whole plot revolves around two characters; Jugnoo and Banka who are a representative of the lower class of the society involved in crimes such as murder, theft, and rape. The dramatist very accurately gives a precise picture of the Pakistani Society predominated by evils such as corruption, poverty, terrorism, robbery, and murder, with the use of certain elements that reflect the culture of Pakistan. At the end of the event, Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar awarded the organizers with the shields and presented the token of gratitude to the erudite contemporary writer of Pakistan, Usman Ali Shah Jahan.

The Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) life is the ideal example for the all people. That’s why, to shed light on it, The University of Chenab has organized one day seminar on “Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH)”. The event aims to illuminate people’s lives according to the Prophet’s (SAW) noble teachings. Dr. Abdullah Masood, who is renowned Islamic Scholar, was the keynote speaker. He highlighted the significant aspects of Prophet’s life to portray an ideal example of it. At the end of the event, Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar awarded guest speaker with the token of gratitude. Indeed, this session purified the audience’s soul.
