The University of Chenab, observed the solidarity day with Palestine today. Deputy Chairman (BoG) Mr. Naveed Akbar, Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmad Bilal Waqar, and students walking together, standing strong. A heartfelt walk at The University of Chenab, Gujrat with flags and prayers for our muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine.

Seerat Conference

Office of the Student Affairs organized “Seerat Conference” in the University of Chenab Gujrat. Renowned Scholar Syed Attiq Ur Rehman was the guest speaker. The event was held in the Main Auditorium which accommodated a diverse audience comprising teachers, administrators, and students from all departments. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation and a shared sense of respect for the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), his Seerat and his contributions to humanity.

The Last Metaphor

The Department of Languages has organized a live dramatic reading of play “The Last Metaphor” by the author himself, “Usman Ali Shah Jahan”, at The University of Chenab, Gujrat. The author is the prolific anglophone writer of different plays such as “The Guilt” and “The Odyssey.” “The Last Metaphor” is a three-act play, its whole plot revolves around two characters; Jugnoo and Banka who are a representative of the lower class of the society involved in crimes such as murder, theft, and rape. The dramatist very accurately gives a precise picture of the Pakistani Society predominated by evils such as corruption, poverty, terrorism, robbery, and murder, with the use of certain elements that reflect the culture of Pakistan. At the end of the event, Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar awarded the organizers with the shields and presented the token of gratitude to the erudite contemporary writer of Pakistan, Usman Ali Shah Jahan.

Seminar on “Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH)”

The Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) life is the ideal example for the all people. That’s why, to shed light on it, The University of Chenab has organized one day seminar on “Seerat Un Nabi (PBUH)”. The event aims to illuminate people’s lives according to the Prophet’s (SAW) noble teachings. Dr. Abdullah Masood, who is renowned Islamic Scholar, was the keynote speaker. He highlighted the significant aspects of Prophet’s life to portray an ideal example of it. At the end of the event, Pro-Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bilal Waqar awarded guest speaker with the token of gratitude. Indeed, this session purified the audience’s soul.
